Adventure Is Out There

We absolutely love the movie UP! It is our relationship for sure, I am the loud one and Jeff is the shy one. I guess that dynamic really works well. hahaha :)  We heard that a builder here in Utah got permission from Disney to use the design of the house and built a house that looks just like the house in UP. Since we love the movie so much, we just had to go. It is about 10 mins from the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and we were going for my cousin's endowments on a Saturday morning, we went after the session and stopped by not knowing they were still doing tours. We just wanted a picture of the outside, but a lady came out and asked us if we wanted to come in. So we were way excited to go in!! Here are a few pics.  Sadly we didn't have a real camera with us, only our phones. A family just bought the house and moved in Jan 4th.

Birthday Fun

Well is was my Golden birthday back in September, you know 24 on the 24th, so Jeff and I planned on going to dinner and a movie cause my birthday was on a Saturday, but about 2 days before my birthday Jeff's grandma called and said they had 2 extra tickets for Mary Poppins at the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City on my birthday. I couldn't say no to seeing a musical that I love and plus Jeff had never seen a professional musical before, so I had to take him! We quickly changed our plans and went and saw "I Don't Know How She Does It" on Friday night before my birthday. Then on my birthday we went and got my free birthday meal from Tucanos! I love that place!!  Then we were off to Salt Lake to see Mary Poppins, where we met up with Jeff's Aunt and cousin to see the show. It was just as good the second time around. Jeff was laughing at me as I was singing and doing the moves for SUPERCAL.... Thanks Company! I love musicals!  Thanks for the tickets Grandma and Grandpa Clark!  Jeff even made me a birthday cake! Thanks babe.. I love you!

Jeff's New Job

Well this summer Jefferson got a new job on campus as a graphic designer for the Library's exhibits. His first project when he started was a special collections exhibit all round the 400 year old King James Bible and many other bibles. He was so excited to design and help put a beautiful exhibit together. He loved the fact that he got to handle some of the bibles while putting up the exhibit. I am so proud of him and love seeing him "show off" his work to family and friends. If you are ever in Provo and are on BYU campus you should go and see the wonderful exhibit down on the first floor, it's there it April 2012. There is lots of good stuff in there.  He just loves this job!
